Delivering at Pace

This is one of the most common competencies used widely across various positions and organisations. It is all about producing top-quality results within pre-set and often tight deadlines, monitoring progress and overcoming any obstacles; in other words, getting the job done on time and to the expected standard. It is also called Drive for Results, Results Orientation and Performance Drive and encompasses several strengths such as Planning and Organising and Time Management. 

Interview Questions: 

Describe a situation when you demonstrated this competency.

Describe a time when you showed determination and tenacity in order to achieve a particularly successful end result.

Tell me about a time when you were faced with resistance or negativity and how you responded.

Tell me about a situation or task where you delivered an exceptional result.

Describe a situation where you had to take many different actions and overcome a variety of obstacles in order to deliver a successful result.

Describe a time when you were unable to complete a task on time due to some unforeseen event or obstacle. How did you react?

Give us an example showing how you organise your time so that you complete all your tasks by the allotted deadline.

• Act promptly to reassess workloads and priorities when there are conflicting demands to maintain performance.

• Allow individuals space and authority to meet objectives, providing additional support where necessary, whilst keeping overall responsibility.
